BioCharacter Name: Sango

Timeline: After chapter 545, in which she is incapacitated by Naraku's jyaki.
Character History: Sango is the daughter of the headman of a once great village of demon slayers. She grew up learning her family's trade and was considered to be one of the most talented slayers in the entire village. One day, she and her father, brother, and a few other slayers were sent on a mission to kill a spider demon that was terrorizing a castle. While there, her brother was taken under the control of the spider demon and killed her father, the other slayers, and tried to kill Sango. The castle's guards killed her brother Kohaku for protection, and both siblings were buried on the castle grounds, along with their father and their comrades. Sango was not actually dead, and dug her way out. She was nursed back to health by a man by the name of Naraku, who was posing as the young lord of the castle. Here she learned that while she was battling the spider demon, her village was destroyed by a horde of demons - led by the "evil" half-demon InuYasha. She vowed to destroy InuYasha and even engaged him in battle, until she found out that Naraku was the one who had led the demons to her village. After this, Sango joined InuYasha's group, and travelled with them to defeat Naraku. It was here she met the cursed monk Miroku, whom she later fell in love with and became engaged to. Over the course of their travels, she found that her brother had been resurrected and used as a puppet by Naraku. She and her friends faced many battles in their travels, constantly fighting against Naraku and searching for the shards of the shattered Shikon Jewel, a mystical object with immense spiritual power. Eventually her brother was freed, and she and her friends headed into the final battle with Naraku... Which brings us to where she is now. :D
Abilites/Special Powers: Sango's very strong, and her weapon, Hiraikotsu, can dispel Naraku's jyaki - A demonic miasma that is toxic. That's about it, though - She's a normal human.
